The Role

Every successful search relies on the Research team to drive talent identification and craft the optimal research strategy. Research interns, therefore, will focus on supporting our efforts to find the best technology executives for our consultants to reach out to. They will aid in gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information about the people, industries, and products relevant to our search projects, working across the firm to make our searches more efficient.

You’ll work closely with consultants and research analysts to uncover the best talent in the world for our clients. You’ll attend client calls with technology executives around the world, participate in our research meetings, and gain exposure to our particular blend of management consulting and executive recruiting. Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to create a capstone project by the end of your internship, with guidance and mentorship from multiple members of the Research and Consultant teams.

  • Currently enrolled as a college student (preference given to college juniors)
  • Passionate for technology and the work our clients do; looking to learn more about business, startups, and the tech industry
  • Enjoys working with people and interested in building leadership teams
  • Quick learner who enjoys acquiring knowledge in new subject areas
  • Creative thinker who is analytically capable and intellectually curious
  • Clear communicator who can present findings in a compelling fashion
  • Strong believer in the value of partnership and teamwork
  • Empathetic and proactive teammate who is flexible in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to research strategy and execution across multiple client projects
  • Improve internal resources and identify external resources that augment our database of the best leaders in technology
  • Gather market intelligence to inform search strategy and client teams
  • Interact with top companies and leading executives in the technology industry
  • Develop your knowledge around the world of technology and venture capital
  • Learn about Parker Remick’s various teams and functions, understanding the contributions and job duties of each facet and how they contribute to the success of our mission
  • Tackle unique projects to help PR and our clients grow
  • With guidance from PR team members, ideate and complete a capstone project (either one that we suggest or a project of your choosing) that contributes value to the firm, while simultaneously demonstrating your ability to follow through on a meaningful, weeks-long project
  • Applications are due by April 1, and while start & end dates are flexible to account for different college schedules, we anticipate this being a summer-long internship of approximately 8-12 weeks.
